Frequently Asked Questions

Can you special order shoes for me?

Yes we can. If you do not see a shoe in your size or color, we will call the vendor and try to order it for you.

If you don’t have a shoe style I want, can you get it for me?

Yes we can. It is impossible to carry every style a brand makes. However, we will call our vendor to see if the style is available and what it will cost. We will then call you and inform you of the price and the anticipated delivery. If you want us to order the shoe at that point, we will be happy to do it.

Do you have a frequent buyer card/club?

Sorry, we do not. We do not believe in gimmicks to get our customers to return to our store. Our everyday prices are lower than our competitor’s prices even after coupons and frequent buyer “deals” — and we guarantee it.

What do you mean when you say JDR carries “first run” shoes?

When a brand sells product to a better department store or specialty store, they sell them the best styles made in the best materials from the best factories. These are the shoes and styles that JDR offers. It is easy for a customer to compare the exact style that the better stores are carrying—we carry them too.

What is the difference between JDR’s “first run” shoes and other warehouses’ “make up” product?

When a brand sells “make up” product, they change the style just enough and take some of the quality of materials and manufacturing out of the item. The “make up” product is not the same as the “in line, first run” product.

Secondly, “make up” product may be a style(s) from the previous year.

Lastly, the customer cannot compare the brands “make up” shoes to the “in line” shoe because they are not the same. Department stores and specialty stores do not carry the “make up” product.

Consequently, the customer gets a cheaper product that looks something like the in line item, or it may even be last years style.

Can I buy shoes online?

Yes you can. Our online sales department is growing and ever evolving to make shopping easier for you. You can now sort products many ways—by season, by category, and by type of shoe to name a few.

How can I verify the status of my order and who can answer questions regarding my order?

How long does it take to receive my online order?

Our online orders are shipped via UPS ground or USPS. Orders leave our warehouse within one to two days of receipt of order if order is received Sunday through Thursday (provided the goods are in stock). If the order is received after 12 noon (EST) on Friday, the order will be shipped on the following Monday (provided the goods are in stock).

Therefore, you should receive your order approximately 3 to 10 business days from the date of order.

I received my shoes but they do not fit. Can I exchange them for a different size?

Yes you can. Contact us through the “contact us” tab on our home page. Indicate your order number and what you would like to exchange. We will pull the proper size for you, send it to you, and charge your credit card. When we receive the improper size at our warehouse, we will then immediately credit your charge card.
